VSP investigating Tuesday’s fatal crash in Lee County

A one driver is dead and two people are injured following a fatal crash in Lee County on Tuesday afternoon.

According to a report from Virginia State Police, a Chevrolet cavalier traveling west on Route 352 crossed the center line and a struck a GMC Acadia traveling eastbound. The driver of the Chevrolet was killed and the passenger is being treated for serious injuries in a Harlan, Kentucky hospital. The driver of the GMC was treated for minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
