This Year’s Tennessee Blue Book Is Actually Yellow
It’s Tennessee’s go to book for anything you might want to know about the Volunteer State. We’re talking about the Tennessee Blue Book. But this year, the book published every two years is not blue, but yellow in honor of the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment granting women the right to vote. Yellow was picked to honor the symbolic color of the national women’s suffrage movement. The 2019 Blue Book, that’s actually yellow is published by the Secretary of State’s Office and a copy can be obtained through your state represenative or the Division of Publications in Nashville.
