The state of Virginia, with no reported cases of the Corona Virus, COVID-19, is not taking any chances and has a plan in place to respond in case an outbreak occurs. Governor Northam says The Virginia Department of Health has some of the country’s leading public health experts on its team, with deep experience guiding public health emergency responses. Virginia is testing for the potential virus at its own laboratories and is expected to generate results within hours, allowing for faster responses.
