Funding On The Way For COVID-19 Screening And Testing In Southwest Virginia
As community health centers continue to scramble to find needed equipment and supplies to battle the COVID-19 crisis funding is now available in southwest Virginia that will help ease the situation. Ninth District Congressman Morgan Griffith announced Tuesday more than 400 thousand dollars is headed to seven community health centers in southwest Virginia. The funding may be used for screening and testing, acquiring medical supplies and boosting telehealth capacity. The funds originated from the United States Department of Health and Human Services.
