COVID-19 Crisis Postpones ELizabethton’s Covered Bridge Days

It seems there is nothing the COVID-19 crisis wont effect and now another local summer festival is being postponed. Elizabethton’s Covered Bridge Days is the latest event to fall victim to the Coronavirus pandemic. The event was scheduled for June 10-13. Officials with the popular festival say since there is no way of knowing when the crisis will end, the committee felt it is in the best interest of all those involved to give proper notice of the event’s postponement. Event coordinators say there’s a possibility of rescheduling already booked performers for a future date that may coincide with Covered Bridge Jams later this year.
