Child Care Services Headed For Critical Workers On Front Lines Of COVID-19

Virginia Governor Ralph Northam is announcing additional funds to support child care services for essential personnel, and to prepare emergency child care centers in Virginia. 70 Million dollars in Child Care and Development Block grants is being funded by the recently approved CARES Act to further support child care for essential personnel. Many child care centers have had to close their doors due to the Coronoavirus pandemic and Northam says the services are vital for the critical workers on the front lines of this public health crisis.
