Fire Officials: Trailer ‘total loss’ following early morning fire in Bloomingdale
No injuries have been reported in a Wednesday morning structure fire in the Bloomingdale community.
The Bloomingdale Volunteer Fire Department reports they were called to a trailer fire in the area of Fontana Street and Alabama Street around 5:00 a.m. Multiple agencies responded to the scene including the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office. The department did not indicate that anyone was inside the residence when they arrived. Crews were on scene for around two and a half hours before clearing just before 8:00 a.m.
The home is considered a total loss and the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office is now investigating the fire, according to the Bloomingdale Volunteer Fire Department.
