School Officials Release Plans For Reopening

We are getting our first look at what school will look like when Sullivan County, Kingsport and Bristol students return to the classroom later next month. Two plans have been released, one specifically for Sullivan County and one for Sullivan County, including Kingsport and Bristol. School officials released the 25 page framework for a safe reopening of schools on Wednesday. The operations Manual shows three thresholds for reopening, no to minimal spread, minimal to moderate spread and substantial spread. The manual also describes procedures for class size and spacing as well as movement within the schools.
