Directive from Supreme Court requires all visitors to Tennessee courthouses to wear masks
The Tennessee Supreme Court has entered an order that stipulates anyone entering a courthouse for court-related business must wear a mask at all times while in the building.
Chief Justice Jeff Bivins said the recent spike in daily COVID-19 cases required the court to reconsider how to keep the public and courthouse workers safe.
The face-covering requirement goes into effect on Monday and will continue until further notice.
