Two Stone Mountain Health Service clinics closing until August due to COVID-19 exposure

A Stone Mountain Health Services staff member at the Thompson Valley Health Center in Vansant, VA, has tested positive for the coronavirus.

The health company issued a statement Sunday, reporting that an exposed staff member traveled from the Vansant location to Stone Mountain’s health clinic in Hurley, VA.

Out of an abundance of caution, both locations are closing until August 3rd, and the company is contacting impacted patients as well as staff members with information about the closures.
