TN Rep. Roe pledging efforts to help small businesses and industries impacted by COVID-19 with Congress returning to D.C

Tennessee 1st Congressional District Rep. Phil Roe says he plans to focus his efforts on helping industries and businesses still struggling because of the COVID-19 pandemic when Congress returns to D.C this week.

Lawmakers are returning to the capitol to consider additional coronavirus relief packages, and programs like the Payment Protection Program have helped retain over 86,000 jobs in Roe’s district since April 1st.

Congress extended the deadline to apply for these forgivable loans, and any small business owner still needing assistance has until August 8th to apply.
