Bristol, TN School Board votes to delay start of classes until August 6th

Bristol, TN City Schools have also delayed the start of the system’s academic year by three days.

The first day of classes were set for August 3rd, but officials have pushed that start back until August 6th.

A revised schedule shows teacher in-service days have been moved to August 3rd and 4th which will give teachers additional time to prepare.
