ACT, SAT scores for admission at University of Tennessee optional for students in fall 2021

University of Tennessee admissions officials has decided that SAT and ACT student scores will be an optional submission for the fall 2021 semester.

A report from UT Knoxville said the move comes as most major testing companies have suspended operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

One office executive said other factors for students will be evaluated including leadership, community engagement, and intellectual curiosity.

Enrollment applications will be accepted for the 2021 cycle beginning in August.
