UPDATE: ‘Alabama’ tour stop at Bristol’s Thunder Valley Amphitheater postponed to 2021

Officials with Bristol Dragway, Bristol Motor Speedway, and the Thunder Valley Amphitheater announced Thursday that the 50th Anniversary tour appearance for the band Alabama has been rescheduled for Aug. 14, 2021.

The concert had originally been rescheduled for 2020 after doctors for lead singer Randy Owen ordered him off the road in 2019 due to a medical condition.

The venue plans to honor passes previously purchased for the event.

Thunder Valley will not remain silent, however, with track officials planning to host a National Hot Rod Association event in October.
