UPDATE: Mountain Home V.A. reports sixth coronavirus death

A sixth COVID-19 death has been reported within the Mountain Home V.A Healthcare system.

That’s according to a Friday morning update from the Department of Veterans Affairs COVID-19 dashboard, as it marks the third virus death within the system this week.

Since Wednesday, active coronavirus cases have increased from 63 to 66, 58 of which are veterans while eight are employees. There have also been 97 virus recoveries in the Mountain Home system, including 86 veterans. That number has also increased from the reported 86 on Wednesday.

The numbers reflect all Mountain Home in-system clinics including the Johnson City location.
