North Carolina Resident Killed In Motorcycle Crash On Southwest Virginia Roadway

A North Carolina man is dead after his motorcycle struck another vehicle on a Southwest Virginia roadway. Virginia State Police are reporting, 48 year old Kevin R. Skinner of Greenville, NC was driving his 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle on Route 16 when it crossed the center line and struck a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck head on. Skinner was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. Skinner was wearing a helmet. State Police say the driver of the pickup truck was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured in the crash which remains under investigation.
