Kingsport lawyer censured by state law officials

A Kingsport lawyer has been censured by Tennessee’s law authority.

A report from the Board of Professional Responsibility said Steven Carl Frazier received notice of the action last month for a series of violations including sharing a fee with an attorney outside his firm without the written consent of his client.

Frazier was also ordered to reimburse his client more than $2,000 within 90 days.
