Director of Schools: Sullivan North High School football community member tests positive for COVID-19

Sullivan County Director of Schools Dr. David Cox says a member of the Sullivan North High School football community has tested positive for COVID-19.

A statement from Dr. Cox says as a result of the positive case, all practices and activities for the team have been suspended for 14 days, which started Monday.

The school system is working with the Sullivan County Health Department to contact trace and is advising individuals who may have been in contact with the virus case to quarantine.
