UPDATE: Scott County Public Schools to start with in-person and remote learning
Some changes have been made for the restart of Scott County Public Schools later this month.
A school central office representative told us classes will resume on Aug. 24 but after consulting with officials at the Lenowisco Health District the school board has voted to switch up which groups will actually receive on-site instruction due to an increase in COVID cases.
The new plan will have students in grades Pre-K through 3rd including those with special needs and English remediation learning at their respective school district classrooms while those in grades 4th through 12th assigned to online learning.
The system will reevaluate its plans after two weeks of instruction.
