UPDATE: VSP identifies victim in weekend house fire in St. Paul
The Virginia State Police has identified the person killed in a weekend fire in Wise County.
A report issued by the agency Tuesday said the body of Randy D. Allen, 45, of St. Paul, was discovered inside the home in the 16600 block of Summit Drive by fire crews.
The blaze was reported Sunday afternoon just before 4:30. The investigation into the cause of the fire continues but preliminary details show the incident does not appear to be suspicious in nature.
