Lee County Residents Will Soon See Major Sewer Line Replacement Project Begin
Lee County residents will soon see a massive water infrastructure improvement project get underway. The Appalachian Regional Commission is awarding two grants totaling more than 718 thousand dollars that will support major upgrades for the St. Charles Water Line Replacement project and will also support more than 17 thousand linear feet of water line traveling from the former sewer plant and is expected to decrease water loss occurring from old water lines. 36 households will also see more than seven thousand linear feet of new water lines in the Fields Community of Ewing.
