ETSU not requiring submission of ACT/SAT scores for 2021 applicants seeking admission
East Tennessee State University will not require students applying for admission for 2021 to submit ACT/SAT scores.
The school said Thursday they will use the applicant’s GPA to make admission decisions, except in the case of applicants that do not meet the minimum GPA requirement, who may then have to submit an ACT or SAT score.
Individuals that are seeking scholarships, such as the Academic Performance Scholarship, will be required to submit ACT/SAT scores by March 1, 2021. The change in procedure applies to applicants seeking admission to ETSU for spring, summer, and fall 2021 semesters.
