More Than Two Million Dollars Headed To Southwest Virginia For Worker Training Program

More than two million dollars is being awarded to two recipients in Southwest Virginia for workforce training in rural communities. Tazewell County is receiving more than one point four million dollars and 853 thousand dollars is headed to Appalachian Sustainable Development as part of the Workforce Opportunities for Rural Communities program. The more than two million dollar award will support worker training that meets the needs of the region and help to pave the way for economic opportunities.
