Bristol Virginia Man Pleads Guilty To Illegal Possession Of Machinegun
A Bristol, Virginia man has pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Abingdon to three federal gun charges related to offenses occurring in the region. 48 year old Michel Andrew Houser pleads guilty to two counts of an indictment charging him with possession of an unregistered machine gun and possession of an unregistered silencer. According to court documents, Houser was arrested at his Bristol Virginia home on state charges. Following his arrest, Houser then called a friend to retrieve certain firearms and ammunition from his home. At sentencing, Houser faces up to ten years inprison and or a fine of up to 250 thousand dollars.
