Polling site at Southwest Va Higher Education Center opening today

As election day draws ever so closer, voters in Southwest Virginia have an additional site to early vote at.

Starting today, the Washington County, Va Department of Elections has opened a location at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center, which will be open through the end of the month Monday to Saturday from 9-5.

Nearly 20% of registered voters have already cast a ballot either in-person or by-mail, according to election officials.
