Science Hill Sets School Record For AP Exams

In a year with unprecedented educational challenges, there’s a bit of good news coming out of Science Hill High School as the school sets a school record for the number of students who earned an AP Scholar Award. 136 students earned an average score of three point five- five out of five on the examine that recognizes high school students who have demonstrated outstanding college level achievement through their performance on the Advanced Placement exams. For the 2019-2020 school year, more than 550 AP students took more than eleven hundred exams, resulting in 64 percent of those students scoring a three or higher on the exams. Science Hill now offers 26 Advanced Placement classes.
