Rogersville City School to move to virtual learning for the rest of the semester due to COVID-19
Rogersville City School is the latest school in the region to choose a virtual learning path for its students for the final days of the fall semester.
Officials made that announcement Tuesday morning, citing an all time high positivity rate of COVID-19 cases in Hawkins County, and an expected spike of more virus cases because of Thanksgiving.
Rogersville City hopes to provide consistency for students by shifting to an all remote learning format and hopes to return to in-person learning after the Christmas holiday.
