Virginia First State To Ban No Knock Warrants Since Death Of Breonna Taylor
The Commonwealth of Virginia is the first state to ban no knock search warrants in response to the death of Breonna Taylor in Louisville ,Kentucky. On Monday, Governor Ralph Northam ceremonially signed Breonna’s Law. Virginia is now the third state in the country to ban the practice and the first since the tragic death of 26 year old Breonna Taylor was killed in March during the execution of a no knock search warrant at her Louisville Kentucky home.
