Fatal Washington County, Virginia House Fire Now Under Investigation

At the request of the Washington County, Virginia Sheriff’s Office, Virginia State Police are investigating a fatal house fire that killed two elderly adults last month in Glade Spring, Virginia. A family member was able to escape the blaze, but 80 year old Drexel Hull, and his wife, 79 year old Carol Hull were unable to escape from the house that was fully engulfed in flames when rescue workers arrived the morning of November 20th in the eleven thousand one hundred block of Mount Calm Drive. The cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation and at this stage does not appear to be suspicious in nature.
