Governor Northam Issues Modified Stay At Home Order…Other Restrictions On Social Gatherings
Virginia Governor Ralph Northam on Thursday issued a modified stay at home order for all of Virginia beginning this coming Monday at midnight. Northam used a recorded message from a Ballad Nurse who pleaded with everyone to wear a mask and stay at home. The stay at home order is in effect each night from midnight to five am. Northam also announced a new order of no more than ten people in any social gathering. The Governor says he is ramping up enforcement of the restrictions and 181 enforcement letters have already been sent out to Virginia businesses that aren’t following the States guidelines. The modified stay at home order expires on January 31.
