Kingsport Police Respond To City Schools More Than 500 Times Last Year
The Kingsport Police Department responded to more than 500 calls to Dobyns-Bennett High School and the two middle schools during 2017. Police were called to Dobyns-Bennett 403 times by administrators or teachers. Thats according to a report released by the Kingpsort Police Department. Its not known what the majority of the calls were for. Police also responded to Sevier Middle School 53 times and was called to Robinson Middle School a total of eight times last year.
