Portion Of East Cedar Street In Bristol Tennessee To Close For Construction Project

A nearly nine million dollar East Cedar Street improvement project that began last fall will now close a Bristol Tennessee street for nearly four months due to construction work in the area. East Cedar Street between King College Road and Florida Avenue will be closed beginning January 11 and will include the straightening of an S curve, the relocation of utilities and grade work to improve the vertical road alignment. Arrangements have been made for residents within the construction zone to maintain access to their homes, but all other traffic will be diverted around the area. East Cedar Street is expected to be close for about four months.
