TVA requesting public comment on multi-million dollar power line expansion project proposal in Bristol, TN

Public input is being sought by the Tennessee Valley Authority on a $30 million proposal for transmission system improvements in the Bristol, TN area.

TVA is seeking to build power lines as part of an extension from the Sullivan County and Bluff City substations towards the Northeast portion of Bristol to Bristol, TN Essential Services’ proposed substation between Weaver Pike and Highway 394. TVA would primarily use existing right of ways to construct the power lines.
