TBI: Johnson City man arrested, allegedly involved in producing child pornography
A Johnson City man is in jail following an investigation into allegations he was producing child pornography.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation along with Johnson City Police and the Washington County, TN Sheriff’s Office received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children as well as the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office into Sean Venning, 42. State and local authorities investigated the information and determined Venning was allegedly involved in producing child pornography.
TBI agents arrested Venning Friday night on a charge of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor. He was booked into jail on a $50,000 bond.
The investigation remains ongoing.
