JCPD: No danger to threat made by student towards Science Hill High School, additional police presence on campus today

Johnson City Police have identified a student who allegedly made a threat towards Science Hill High School on social media.

Officers say the student, who is a juvenile and is not being identified, has charges pending with the associated threat. Johnson City Police reported that there is no danger from the threat made to Science Hill, its students, faculty or staff.

Out of an abundance of caution, additional law enforcement will be on the school campus on Monday.
