NEW: Northeast TN residents 55 and older, Phase 2a and 2b workers now eligible to register for COVID vaccine

Health departments across Northeast Tennessee are now offering COVID vaccines to residents 55 and older as well as workers in Phase 2a and 2b.

This is according to the TN Dept. of Health’s county vaccine info and appointments page on their website, which has formally moved our local counties into the next phase, along with Sullivan County, who is also offering vaccines to residents 55 and older along with Phase 2a and 2b workers.

A spokesperson from the Northeast TN Regional Health Office confirmed that registration is open to this group, and more information is expected to be announced about expansion Monday afternoon from the Tennessee Dept. of Health.
