Two people dead in Tuesday night wreck involving motorcycle in Johnson County
Two people have died following an accident involving a motorcycle Tuesday night in Johnson County.
Tennessee Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 7:00 p.m in the 5700 block of Highway 91. A motorcycle driven by Luther Dunn, 33, of Laurel Bloomery, TN was traveling south when he came around a curve, overturned, and slid across the northbound lane.
A 2019 Dodge truck traveling north was unable to avoid Luther and his passenger Deidra Dunn, 33, of Mountain City, TN in the crash, and THP reported both were run over by the truck.
Both Deidra and Luther were pronounced dead in the wreck, which remains under investigation.
