TDH: Northeast Region Health Departments now taking COVID-19 vaccine appointments for adults 16 and older

Northeast Tennessee Region Health departments are now scheduling COVID vaccine appointments for all residents 16 and older.

Those interested in receiving the vaccine can schedule an appointment on vaccinate.tn.gov or by calling the Northeast Regional Registration Line at (423)-979-4689, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m-4:30 p.m. Individuals under 18 must schedule an appointment getting the Pfizer vaccine, as it the only vaccine authorized for 16 and 17 year olds. Below is the list of COVID-19 vaccine sites across the region:

*Carter County- Great Lakes Workforce Dev. Facility, 386 TN-91, Elizabethton, TN

*Greene County- Greene Valley Dev. Center, 4850 East Andrew Johnson Highway, Greeneville, TN

*Hancock County- Hancock County High School, 2700 Main Street, Sneedville, TN

*Hawkins County- Phipps Bend Industrial Park, 951 Phipps Bend Road, Surgoinsville, TN

*Johnson County- Johnson County Industrial Park, 165 Industrial Park Rd, Mountain City, TN

*Unicoi County- Unicoi County High School, 700 Mohawk Drive, Erwin, TN

*Washington County- Freedom Hall Civic Center, 1320 Pactolas Road, Johnson City, TN
