UPDATE: Birthplace of Country Music Museum takes lead in USA Today poll for nation’s best pop culture museum

Less than two weeks are left in a USA Today contest to determine the best pop culture museum in the country and a Tri-Cities staple is currently atop the leaderboard.

As of Wednesday morning, the Birthplace of Country Music Museum ranks first among 20 nominees looking to be recognized in the USA Today’s 10Best list. Other notable locations being considered include the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, and Grammy Museum L.A. Live in Los Angeles.

You can cast a vote once a day on USA Today’s website, and winners will be announced on May 21.
