Man Convicted In Northeast Tennessee Truck Stop Murder To Get New Hearing

A man serving a life sentence in prison for murdering three people in the 1990’s including a woman at a Northeast Tennessee truck stop will get a new hearing related to DNA testing in his case. A Criminal Appeals court ruled that Sean Patrick Goble should get a new hearing after he said DNA swabs taken from Brenda Kay Hagy were not compared to his DNA genetic profile. Hagy was killed at a Baileyton truck stop in 1995, but Goble now claims if the DNA swabs were tested they would prove he did not murder Hagy. Goble also confessed to two other killings in the 1990’s.
