Tip Leads Hawkins County Investigators To Large Cache Of Drugs, Including Deadly Fentanyl, Three Arrested
A tip leads Hawkins County Sheriff’s Investigators to seizing a large cache of drugs, including Heroin and Methamphetamine, a weapon and the arrests of three felons. Sheriff’s authorities conducted a high risk traffic stop on a Nissan Versa, with Georgia license plates on July 7 around eight pm on Timberline Drive. The Department received a tip that three individuals would be delivering a large amount of narcotics to Timberline Drive in Rogersville. The Georgia vehicle was driven by Timothy Larson Burke, and occupied by front seat passenger Matthew T.J. Lurt Cubbage and backseat passenger Misty L. Rowlls. Investigators siezed more than one thousand grams of Meth, more than 50 grams of the deadly drug Fentanyl, more than 40 grams of heroin, a large amount of colored pills thought to be Ecstasy and a loaded nine mm handgun.
