ETSU Veterans Affairs announces new transportation for veterans
East Tennessee State University announced a new mode of transportation for veterans on campus. A Greeneville-based company named TEVET recently donated $15,000 for the school to purchase a golf cart. Assistant director of ETSU Veterans Affairs Curtis Clontz says the golf cart provides the school with the ability to be more inclusive to their population of disabled veterans. The golf cart will allow veterans and family of military-affiliated students to travel around ETSU’s Johnson City campus with more ease. According to Clontz, the golf cart has already made an impact at orientations and day-to-day operations. Read more here.
