Santa Train event to switch to drive thru gift distribution for second year

Organizers with the annual CSX Santa Train have announced a gift distribution that will take the place of the traditional train excursion through the Coalfields for a second year.

An abundance of caution was cited for the change. Participants will be able to drive up to the four participating Food City locations in Shelbiana, Kentucky, and in Virginia at Clintwood, St. Paul, and Weber City from 8 to 10 am on November 20th.

Plans include distributing 5,000 backpacks for children along with wrapping paper at the four sites.
