Education leaders in Johnson City shut down 6th grade at Indian Trail due to COVID

A sixth-grade pod at Indian Trail Intermediate School is shut down for the next two weeks after Johnson City Schools reported a growing number of COVID cases in that collection of students.

The message sent to Indian Trial parents said the measure was taken to try and decrease the transmission of the virus.

School administrators said the decision was made in conjunction with local health officials. Students will continue to receive school work during the break.
