“Scorpion 5K” to benefit Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team

The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office is holding a run next week called the “Scorpion 5K”. According to organizers, proceeds from this event will go to purchasing much-needed equipment and safety gear for the office’s SWAT team. There will be awards for the top three male and female runners in each age range, as well as top overall male and female finishers. Participants can take advantage of discounted early registration through August 27th. Race day registration is also available.
