Johnson City Commissioners Working On Interlocal Agreement With Washington County
Johnson City Commissioners had a busy schedule Thursday. First this morning, Commissioners were touring the Convention and Visitors Bureau offices, now being relocated in the old Ashe Street Courthouse. Tonight, Commissioners will discuss several changes that Washington County Tennessee Commissioners made to an Interlocal agreement between the county that will allow Johnson City to use five million dollars for a make over of the historic Courthouse owned by the County. The project is part of the City’s 22 million dollar Downtown Capitol Improvement Plan. Tonight’s meeting begins at six pm.
