Police recover $40,000 in street value heroin at Abingdon home

Two Abingdon, Virginia residents are in jail without bond following a drug seizure operation by Washington County deputies where $40,000 in street value heroin was found.

Gina Marcia Denys, 58, and, Erette Allen McClellan, 41, are facing numerous charges including possession and transporting controlled substances.

A quantity of meth was also recovered at the scene.
