UPDATE: Third jail escapee from Freedom Hall detail arrested in Kingsport

A jail escapee’s run from justice is over.

Kayla Pierson was found by a collective of law enforcement including the FBI on Tuesday and arrested on Carrollwood Heights Road in Kingsport.

Pierson and two other jail workers fled their worksite at Freedom Hall in Johnson City on Feb. 22. Those inmates were captured on March 4th.

Pierson was issued a $10,000 bond and is scheduled for arraignment in Sessions Court on Wednesday.
