Report: Johnson City man set homeowner’s floor on fire, vandalized car

A Johnson City man was arrested for arson and vandalism after the owner of a home he was living at reported him. Myral Clark, 52, was living at the victim’s house while they were out of town, and when the owner returned, they found their home and car vandalized, and the house’s floor had been set on fire.

An investigation by Johnson City Police found that Myral Clark was alone in the house and had caused severe damage to the residence. Upon a search of Clark’s backpack, police found a small baggie of crystal white substance and paraphernalia. Myral Clark was booked on Thursday, 3/17 on a $15,000 bond.
