Report: 18 major NCAA violations reported during Pruitt’s tenure at Tennessee
The Knoxville News Sentinel has published a list of football program violations that the University of Tennessee reported to the NCAA that led to the dismissal of Jeremy Pruitt.
The report said Pruitt, his wife Casey, and several assistant coaches distributed $60,000 in cash and gifts to recruits and players during Pruitt’s tenure including paying medical bills and car payments for one student’s family.
The 18 total violations are Level I rated by the NCAA which are the most serious by their guidelines. Penalties have not yet been issued to UT.
